Dot to Dot Underground Map…

Came across this today. It’s by Stas Aki’s and it’s called Connect the dots! He did NY, London and Russia which you can see here. But theres a higher res. one below (1500 x 1096) of the London Underground which isn’t high res. on his website below:

100 days till christmas! Just thought I’d let you know that the lovely hot sunshine is over. Again. And that the cold days and night are on there way. Again. Whey!

Google Doodle run up to new features?

Today the Google Doodle has changed again to Google grey…?

This time each character you type in the search bar, one of google’s characters from it’s logo fills from grey to colour.

Interesting! I believe that all this is showing what Google can do on it’s homepage. These simple unexplained changes are creating something to talk about amongst people.

As I said yesterday, for a while when you searched for something on the google homepage (using Google Chrome only) results would come up instantly as you were typing. This therefore links in with the logo today! Google’s aim is to be fast, quick, easy, simple and fun (alot like what Apple is about as well). Google is following in Apple’s footsteps.

So the main idea of this logo is saying ‘As you type you get instant results!’

Google Doodle Balloons / Balls!

Brilliant Google Doodle today. It just has no meaning attatached with it! Still a lovely visual though 🙂

UPDATE: google.co.uk has now taken away the balloons/balls but it has updated its search feature. As soon as you start typing google comes up with the search results straight away!

UPDATE 2: The balloons/balls are available to play with on any web browser apart from Google Chrome. Google Chrome has the new search feature only.

Short Reflective Video

The video is a calm relaxed view of everyday life. If lets the viewer reflect on life passing by with this short soft melody by Kelpe. This video is just an experimentation with video as I have never really tried doing an outcome with video before. It’s a basic video but I believe this is what makes it work with the song, as the song is rather basic as well. Short and sweet 🙂
